How We Choose Who We Partner With
Every band gives back. Here's how we decide where it goes.
Recovewrist is a Colorado public benefit corporation. That's not a tagline — it's the legal shape of the company. We're built to answer to the recovery community, not just to a bottom line. Part of that promise is simple: every band you buy helps put another one on someone else's wrist, and helps support the organizations doing the real work of recovery.
So the question we take seriously is: who? Here's how we choose.
We start with people we trust
We don't pick causes off a list. We partner with recovery organizations we have real, personal ties to — people we know, whose work we've seen up close, and whose hands we can shake. Trust first. It's the only way to know a dollar actually lands where it's supposed to.
We look for direct, on-the-ground impact
We favor organizations where the help is close to the person — a bed, a meal, a place to meet, a next step — over layers of overhead. We want the shortest line between what you spend and someone's actual day getting better.
We lead with dignity
Recovery isn't something to be managed quietly or ashamed of. We partner with organizations that treat the people they serve as whole people worth celebrating — the same way we believe a milestone belongs on your wrist, in the daylight, not in a drawer.
We keep it transparent
You'll be able to see it add up. We show what's given, and we'd rather under-promise and over-deliver than dress up a number.
One thing we won't do
We won't claim affiliations we don't have. We keep our language about recovery generic and open on purpose — Recovewrist stands with the whole recovery community and doesn't imply endorsement by, or membership in, any particular organization or fellowship.
Run a recovery organization? If you're doing this work and you think there's a fit, we'd genuinely like to hear from you. Reach out at hello@recovewrist.com — tell us who you serve and how you serve them.
Wear your recovery. Help someone else wear theirs.
